1968: Born in Viborg, Denmark.

Educated as a classical fluteplayer from the Royal Academy of Music in Arhus, Denmark and have worked as a freelance musician from 1999 to 2007.

1991-1999: Flutestudies at the Royal Academy of Music in Aarhus, Denmark. Teachers: Karl Lewkovitch og Thomas Jensen.

1997: Music Diploma
1999: Debut concert from the Soloistclass in Musikhuset Aarhus 1st. of October.

Teaching:
1994-2004: Teacher at the musicschool in Viborg.
1999-2000: Teacher at the Royal Academy of Music, Aahus.
1998/99: MGK – teacher at the musicschool in Aarhus.
2004-06: MGK – teacher at the musicschool in Aarhus.
2004-2008 :Teacher at Stoevring Hoejskole summer chamber music course.

Chambermusic:
1992-2008: Member of ”Ensemble 2000” (ensemble for contemporary music).
1993: Formed the ”Duo Takemitsu” with the guitarist Anders Borbye.
1995-2005: Play in the flutetrio”Flutention” with the flutists Charlotte Norholt and Bettina Zielke.
2003: Formed the ”Den Jydske Harpetrio”, flute, viola and harp.
2006: Formed the "Duo Staehr/Leth" with the pianist Anne Mette Staehr.

Soloist:
1991: Soloist in Carl Nielsens flute concerto with Aarhus Youth Symphony Orchestra.
1992: Soloist in C. Ph. E. Bachs concerto in A-major with the Royal Academy String Orchestra.
1998: Soloist in Carl Stamitz’ flute concerto in G-major with Aarhus Amateur Orchestra and in Carneval de Venise with Vejle Amateur Orchestra.

Prizes:
1995: Won the 2nd prize with Flutention in the Kuhlau-competition in Germany.
1996: Won 2nd prize in the Dansih Competiotion for contemporary music with Duo Takemitsu.
1997: Won 2nd prize in the Danish Competition for contemporary music with Flutention.
1998: Won 2nd prize in UFAM’s International Chamber Music Competition in France with Duo Takemitsu.

Cd-recordings:
1997: Flutention record their first CD ”Terzett”.
1998: Duo Takemitsu record their first CD ”Toward the Sea”.
2000: Ensemble 2000 record threir first CD with contemporary Danish Christmas Music.
2000: Flutention record their 2nd CD ”Flowersongs” with contemporary Danish music.
2002: Duo Takemitsu record their 2nd CD ”Rose” with small classical pieces.
2006: Duo Takemitsu recorded "Nordic Tunes".
2006: Duo Takemitsu recorded a live CD from concerts with Japaneese contemporary music "Takemitsu in Memoriam" (10 years ago the Japanees composer Toru Takemitsu died).
2008: Dua- Disc "Flutronics". Danish music for flute and electronics and visuals by Jacob Nielsen.

2001: Play the musical Miss Saigon at Aarhus Theatre.
2002: Play the musical Show Boat at Aarhus Theatre.
2002: Contract in the South Jutland Symphony Orchestra .
2003: Play ”The Magic Flute ” with Den Jyske Opera for children.
2004/05: Contract in Randers Chamber Orchestra.
2005/06: Play ”Orfeus loves Eurydike” with Den Jyske Opera for children
2006/07: Contract in Randers Chamber Orchestra.
2007 - : Permanenty employed in Randers Chamber Orchestra.
